The Broker Panel has two roles: Admin and Staff. Each team member has one role.

Role permissions

  • Admin: Manages team accounts, broker settings, integrations, billing, reports, branding, and email. Can perform restricted service actions and approve or deny eligible pending requests.
  • Staff: Manages their own profile, notifications, password, and login security. Can approve or deny eligible pending requests, but cannot manage team accounts or roles.

Before you manage the team

Team members list with Admin and Staff role badges Every task below requires the Admin role and applies only to members of your own broker organization. Each account needs an email address that is not already in use, and any password you set must contain at least 6 characters. These protections apply to your own account and to the last Admin:
  • You cannot remove your own account or change your own role from Admin to Staff.
  • At least one Admin must remain on the team.
  • Your own row has the (You) label and no Manage button. Use My Details to change your own name or email address.
To reach the team list, open Account Settings, then select Team Management.

Add a team member

Adding a team member creates an active account immediately and does not send an invitation. You set the initial password during account creation.
Add Team Member dialog filled with a demo staff account
  1. Select Add Team Member.
  2. Enter the member’s Full Name, Email Address, and initial Password.
  3. Choose Staff (the default) or Admin, then select Create Account.

Edit a team member

Find the member, select Manage, then select Edit Details. Change the fields you need and select Update Member. Leave Change User Password empty to keep the current password.

Change a member’s role

Find the member, select Manage, then select Change Role. Select Upgrade to Admin or Downgrade to Staff, and the panel applies the new role immediately.

Remove a team member

Removing a member revokes that member’s access to the Broker Panel and cannot be undone.
Find the member, select Manage, then select Remove from Team. Review the confirmation message and select Remove Member.
